What do you know that shouldn’t be lost?
Some of the most valuable knowledge about dogs has never been formally documented; it lives in experience, conversations, old photographs, handwritten records and the lessons learned through decades of breeding, showing, grooming, training, treating, working with and caring for dogs. Canine Stewardship Co. exists to give that knowledge somewhere to live, and we invite anyone with experience to share, history to preserve, a story worth recording or a subject deserving greater attention to help us ensure it can be passed on for generations to come.
HELP US PRESERVE WHAT MATTERS
Knowledge can disappear in a generation.
Photographs are discarded, records are misplaced, websites disappear and documents are left forgotten in cupboards. More importantly, decades of knowledge and experience can be lost without ever being recorded. You can help us preserve it by sharing an old photograph, submitting a historical document, pointing us towards an important resource, suggesting someone whose knowledge should be recorded, contributing to information already in our library, or simply sharing something you believe others should know.
